Fjordhuse Massakren

(The Fjordhuse Massacre)

The Fjordhuse Massacre is a horror novel, and the plot circles around Ralf, who recently moved to the provincial town of Fjordhuse with his girlfriend Mette. However, strange things start happening in the small town, and what should have been a new beginning is quickly spoiled by a horrible change within Ralf, gradually worsening come midnight.

The prompts I received upon illustrating the front cover of the novel largely focused on two things; 1) there had to be a wolf on the front cover, and 2) it had to scream horror.

I brainstormed various color palettes and wolf motifs (as examplified further down this page), and I ended up with a dark color palette and an extreme close-up of the wolf, focusing on the wild look in its eyes.
