Welcome to my website!
My name is Emma Habekost Jakobsen, and I am an illustrator based in Aarhus, Denmark.
I have a Masters degree in English and Scandinavian Language and Literature, which pairs well with my passion for illustration. I have also completed several art courses, like a course in classical drawing from The Drawing Academy in Viborg.
I get excited by experimentning with new styles, color schemes, and motifs, and I love challenging myself in order to keep finding new and interesting ways to create a new art piece.
I am inspired by: novels, Hayao Miyazaki, people I see, nature documentaries, Tove Jansson and music.
